The Stiffener Welder is a self contained, dual head welding travel carriage with integrated wire feeders and spool mounts. Our standard design will produce continuous or programmable intermittent fillet welds on stiffeners with heights from 4" to 18" (102-457mm) and widths from 4" to 12" (102-305mm) "*". The unit is self-propelled traveling on the stiffener. Spring loaded floating torch holders compensate for variations of work piece fit-up to maintain a consistent torch standoff width. The machine can be configured to operate with any of the following welding processes; GMAW, FCAW or SAW.
